We may process the images you upload, file name, file size, file type, IP address, limited device information and service usage data.

We do not currently require account registration for basic image analysis.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to provide image analysis, generate probabilistic reports, prevent abuse, protect the service and improve our products.

We do not sell uploaded images or analysis-related information to third parties.

3. Uploaded Images

Uploaded images are processed temporarily for AI image analysis.

PhotoProof AI does not intentionally store original uploaded images longer than necessary to provide the requested analysis. In some cases, a selected image may be stored temporarily in your browser's local storage to restore it during the analysis flow. This local copy remains on your device and can be removed by clearing the file or completing the analysis.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Sightengine — used for AI image analysis.
  • Cloudflare — used for DNS, security, traffic protection and email routing.
  • Vercel — may be used for hosting and application infrastructure.
  • Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity — may be used for analytics after enabling those services and, where required, obtaining user consent.
  • Stripe — may be used for payment processing when paid features become available.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use essential cookies or similar technologies required for service functionality, security and abuse prevention.

Analytics or marketing cookies will not be used without consent where such consent is required under applicable law.

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the service and processed information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your personal information. Please contact us regarding such requests.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
